China government bodies break trafficking rings; free 181 children

Chinese suppliers government bodies split up two major kid trafficking functions this week, arresting 802 people and releasing 181 kids, government bodies said Saturday.

The raids took place Thursday evening hours, engaged over 10,000 cops and were harmonized in 15 regions, such as Hebei, Shandong, Sichuan, Fujian, Henan and Yunnan, according to a declaration from the nation's Public Security Ministry.

A "Class A fugitive" charged of trafficking some 100 kids was among those caught, it said.

Child trafficking continues to be a popular problem in Chinese suppliers, the ministry revealed, with experts often directing to the nation's adopting regulations and its one-child plan as members.

"These guidelines give rise to an increasing gender-imbalance (118.08 men for every 100 women according to this years census), which in turn energy sources trafficking and prostitution," Human Privileges Watch said in a 2012 review.

Chinese government bodies have promised a "zero tolerance" plan in working with traffickers.
